Hi again - 1881 census has my gg grandad john hayward and family living at 97 gilesgate canteen inn as innkeeper victualler - was wondering if there would be any records of licenses or anything else which I could find to add to my records

The records of the Brewster Sessions (Magistrates' sessions)  which were the annual meetings of licensing justices to deal with the grant, renewal, and transfer of licences to sell intoxicating liquor.
