Wrights of Castleshane
« on: Sunday 06 April 14 15:46 BST (UK) »
Distant cousins of mine were Wrights, living on the Castleshane Demesne in the 1901 census, and again in 1911.  William Wright, mentioned as a farm servant,  came from Loughgall in Co.Armagh, and married Mary Jane Cobbe, my great grand aunt, from Co.Laois. They had quite a large family, eight children found in the baptism records.

However, the Castleshane house was burned to the ground in 1920, and this branch of the family tree has become a dead end.  I wonder where the Wrights went afterwards, or where William and Mary Jane might have been buried.

Would anyone here have any possible leads?  Many thanks.
