Thanks everybody! I'll be ordering Ethel's death certificate today, hopefully it will have some good clues. It may be a while before I get it as it takes over three weeks to receive it in the US. I'll post what I find. Thanks again.

Too common a name ,can't find any that I'm happy with in 1911- she doesn't have to have been born in the same area of course.

No, the problem with that is there are a gazillion Lilian Moore's in the West Bromwich area. But I am slowly working through the list hoping to find a hit.

May be a complete red herring, but can anybody figure out what happened to Raphael Godfrey b. 1884 Birmingham after the 1911 census (where it appears he is in the West Bromwich area).

Parents Thomas and Clara Matilda. Sister Jessy/Jessie Eugenie m. Samuel Horwood in 1911, West Bromwich area and her family appear to stay around that general area; Raphael, on the other hand, disappears as far as I can tell.

How do you "find" someone after 1911, as that is the latest census??? Also remember that Reginald was born in 1916, and Ethel 1918.

Hi

It looks like both Reginald and Ethel were born during the 1WW, I would have thought that the father would have been in the Armed Forces, do you have Ethel's birth record, who was the informant on Reginald's birth record
