hello,trying to find any info re; winifred rita sinclair......born 1926/7/8/   ish....trying to find info on her parents please ? (possibly St Helier)

She was in Jersey during WW2, everyone living in Jersey during the German Occupation had to have one of these cards

From other baptisms on the site George Thomas (born 1859) married Henrietta Jane Picot

Given the ages in the 1901 Winifred has to be a granddaughter/daughter of one of those listed. That will mean checking the birth indexes - give me a few days

thank you again.....i wondered about the registration card info,,as to who was the father,and where was the mother,,i knew she spoke of her father,but not her mum........thanks for all your help

The birth of Winifred Rita Sinclair is recorded in the St Helier birth indexes Vol 61, page 83. She was born at 9, Winchester St and her parents were Walter Herbert Sinclair and Ada Florence Sampson. Walter's occupation was Sawyer.
Ada Florence's parents were Henry John Sampson and Ada Florence Tibot.
