I am looking for info on my GGGgrandfather Dominic Leyden born c. 1846 in Sligo (Ahamlish I think).  He was in the Royal Irish Constabulary, and he married Elizabeth Maguire in the 1870s in Co. Down.  I can't seem to get further back than this - have checked parish records but I will need to improve my 'reading old handwriting' skills before I can progress with that avenue!  Would love to find who his parents were, or any siblings - any help would be really appreciated.

Hello, My name is John Lyden and I am looking for my Ggrandfather John Lyden born Co Mayo 1850. I have just found him aged 11 in the 1861 census in Glasgow surrounded by lots of LEYDEN'S. My GGgrandfather was Mark Leyden born Sligo and his wife was Bridget. All the other relatives in Glasgow are from Sligo too.
There is a Thomas Leyden b 1833 married to Elizabeth DYER, b 1828. they married in Glasgow 11/10/1849.
Thomas LEYDEN b 1801 married to Catherine b 1799.
Mary LEYDEN widow b 1801 and her children Patrick b 1837,Mary b 1841 and Joseph b 1844.
Can anyone help me locate these LEYDENS in Sligo please.

 One of the Lydon/Leydon married a Meehan

 My ggGrandfather Thomas Meehan married Anna Leaden/Leydon in 1876..Thomas was a Blacksmith,he was born in 1857 and Anna was born in 1860 (at Drumcliffe)
