Welcome to Rootschat, auvers. Lovely that you've found a link to other relatives but you'll need to have 3 posts before you can use PM system and exchange email address, recent family details, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi Julia

Have you checked the Flannery Clan website (www.flanneryclan.ie)? There are a lot of transcribed records that pertain to your area of interest, and some of our members would be related to the family in question.

Hi
Not sure if we are connected! However my ancester is Kate/Catherine Flannery b. 1872 Nenagh Tipperary I only have her father at this stage who is Ned Flannery (Farmer). List was listed on her wedding cert. in 1893, she married Edward Ryan also born in Nenagh. The two witness's are Margaret Flannery & Mary Flanner.  Kate & Edward (who was a Baker) lived in Pound St.

Hi Jackie,

Have been off the computer for a few weeks, but am back on again. Lovely to hear from you. I am a Flannery by marriage, but I do think we are on the same track.

I have an Edward Flannery bc 1806 Farmer who married Mary Anne Walsh, they had 8 children that I know of.

1 Philip bp 1840: sponsors John Flannery & Johanna Walsh.
2 Michael bp. 1846:
3 Mary bp 1848: Sponsors Phil Flannery & Mgt. Kelly.
4 Joanna bp 1851: Sponsors Wm Nolan & Mary Dillon.
5 John (Called Jack) bp 1853:
6 Edward bp 1859: Sponsors Michael Walsh & Catherine Flannery
7 Catherine bp 1860: Sponsors Edmond Shanahan & Anne Dillon
8 Bridget bp 1863. Sponsors Matthew Ryan & Mary Keles

Do you recognise these names? The only information on Catherine I have is her baptism date. The Edward is my husband's Grandfather, he got married in St. Mary of the Rosary R.C.Church, Nenagh, Co Tipperary 11 Feb 1893. His father also Edward was "deceased at this time".

Mary married & had one son. Joanna never married.
