M I Look up request for Kelso Rosebank Cemetery

I have found the place of burial for Andrew Innes  .He is the father of Margaret Innes.

He died on 20th Sep. 1847.  He  was 59 years of age.

He is in The Old Parish Church Yard ground N395 of  plan N1.

Does anyone know if this is under the footpath too  or where  it is?

I am searching for his wife too. She was named Margaret Campbell but have not found her on Scotlands People.

Can you tell me anything about James Rutherford born 1808 Roxburghshire? He is my brick wall. My only clue is that  their daughter Janet was bap. at Sprouston which may be a connection to Rutherfords from Sprouston.All the others bap. at Kelso.He died between 1846 and 1851.

The OPR for Hobkirk records on February 14th 1808 that a son called James has been born to James Rutherford, wright, at Langraw.

Thank -you for finding this James Rutherford and I will check him out .I am beginning to think he may not have died before 1851 and just left his wife.He is not buried with her and I can't find his death on Scotlands People.She may have just called herself a widow in the 1851 census.

I think I may have found the headstone my aunt showed me many years ago.I got the CD for Rosebank  Kelso.  I found this one D1 282.This is the brother of Margaret Rutherford.

Andrew Rutherford Plumber died 24-03-1911 age 76
Christina Douglas his wife died  29-07-1914 age 82
Margaret Wood wife  of James Rutherford died Hawick29-12 1947 age 62
above James Rutherford died Hawick 18-06-1957 age 85
also their son Andrew Rutherford died Hawick15-02-1992 age 74

Would someone be so kind as to go and look at this headstone and see if it is large and dark grey.

She was the wife of George Dodds Henderson.

Just Memorial Inscriptions.  I looked at the Kelso Old Kirkyard  Inscriptions as well and his name is not there either.
