raf sgt c. kemmery (air gunner)

Hi All

Found this would like some help in finding out more about
C. Kemmery (Air Gunner)
aircraft type stirling
serial number EJ105
Raido call sign HA-N
Unit ATTD 218 SQN RAF

Stirling took off from raf downham market at 1850 hrs on the night of 22/23 sept 1943
detailed to bomb hanover germany nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and it failed to return to base
the aircraft was damaged by flack and abandoned by three members one was sgt c. kemmery
and was he was sent to a p.o.w. camp
would be great to find out more about c.kemmery

hers the pow detail for him - camp no 357  pow no 619 camp type stalag   camp location  kerpernikus [  north of hannover and south west of Bremen .
if you do a google search for GERMAN POW CAMP KERPERNIKUS  several sites have pics as well as a detailed history of the camp from the little I read it appears the boys weren,t that well looked after !.

What was his christian name and where and when was he born?

Have you checked freebmd for a birth reg? Only 2 C Kemmery births - neither in Northants

read the post he was in a p.o.w. camp his mates in the aircraft killed
all i now is this so you tell me how would bdm help
all it says is names of aircrew

Yes I psted on bommer command but it only gives
information on the sortie but nothing about c. kemmery
birth/or family it going to take time to find out more
about him

You are asking for help in finding out more about him - presumably post WW2 as he appears to have survived the war in that his name does not appear on the cwgc website.

For us to help you with such info - you need to tell us his christian name and when and where he was born.
