Katherine PENHALL, mother Elizabeth PENHALL nee DALLEY.

I was wondering if anyone might know anything about Katherine Penhall, b 1847 St Austell, Cornwall.
Believe she may have died 1892 around Callington, South Australia.
Her mothers second marriage was to Nicholas Thomas.

Any information would be gladly appreciated...

children Wm Daly 1830-1902, David 1832, Mary Ann Dailey THOMAS 1834, Caroline 1838, Louisa 1843-1859, Cath SPANGLER, Harriet BRAY, Hannah WILTSHIRE, Geo 1849, John Henry 1853-1906

Unfortunately this doesn't seem right as I find the marriage of Caroline PENHALL to William SPANGLER in 1857. She was aged 20 so it does  seem to fit Caroline not Catherine.

Mary Ann [THOMAS] (c1834-),
Caroline [SPANGLER](c1838-),
Elizabeth Ann/Hannah WILTSHIRE (c1841)

Harriet BRAY (c1845)


The only death record for a Catherine PENHALL was the wife of John Henry PENHALL and that did occur in 1892.

thanku for the welcome, and for the information too. U are correct with the family, and also with Caroline and William Spangler. We have tried googling for Catherine, but no results. So not sure whether she lived and arrived Australia or not. Or there is a Catherine that died 1892, Sth Aust, at the age of 45. Which would make it that she was born in 1847, St Austell, Cornwall, which is when Catherine was born.

Hi Essie,
thanku for the list u gave. Dad said it looks like Catherine did not come out to Australia.
He thinks she possibly died in Cornwall or Devon as a baby. Thanku for ur help, it is muchly appreciated.
It puts a new light on things now. Thanku Kris too.
