  Thank you I hit a brick wall I even phoned bmd in Scotland the lady looked but couldn't find a birth for Alexander for them dates but this is great will start looking again hope will find his birth place.

There is a baptism on 29th September 1915 of an Alexandra Young, born 23rd April 1913.
Given the information quoted here from Carole

His death reg in 1998 shows no middle name of Michael - birthdate 23.4.1913

I suspect that this is very likely a mis-transcription of the name Alexander.
The parents are 'Petri' (Peter) Young and 'Mariae' (Mary/Maria) Miller.

Christine ('c-side') has very kindly looked at the original baptism record  at Woodhorn.

She reports that the handwriting is dreadful and that many of the words written in by the priest trail off into a squiggle 

The name is Alexand[squiggle] so could be interpreted as Alexander or Alexandra. However she is confident that the word after that is 'filius' which means 'son'; so  the name must be Alexander.

The mother's maiden surname appears to be  Millb[squiggle] so perhaps not Miller as interpreted in the transcription from which I quoted.

There is only one god-parent, Frances Lowry.

Hello I would like to thank everyone who looked for Alexander young for me I don't think we can go any further without a birth it's been so fustrating for me I only could go on what I'm formation I have been given and it wasn't a lot thank you very much.
