Does anyone have a McCorquodale from the Lismore/ Appin/ Duror area of Argyllshire in his/her family tree? I have a Christian(Christie) McCorquodale born c1780 in that area. She married a Donald McDonald in 1800 but I know little else about her except her childrens' names: Hugh, Christy, Elizabeth, Catherine, Duncan and Donald. The 1841 census gave her age as 60 but that is likely not 100% accurate. On SP there are several deaths for a C* McCorquodale but nothing for Christian or its variations.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I too have this family as well as the Clark family.
My x3 great grandfather is James Clark 1847 he left Scotland and became a railway porter and the a brewers dray-man. he married in Lambeth which was part of Surrey in 1871 to a Harriet Loveland from Guildford.
