Drumm marriage Kinawley
« on: Sunday 18 November 12 17:32 GMT (UK) »
Don't have much to go on here but :P

Looking for a marriage of a Francis Drumm [died before 1901] to a Mary [head of household 1901 census Tiravree Glebe, Kinawley]. Don't know her maiden name - here is census return 1901:

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai000795882/

Oldest son listed is Patrick born c. 1890 so I would imagine the marriage was in the 1880s.

Thanks Kingerswell -

The marriage of Francis Drum junior looks good.

But I think Stewartstown is too far away to be a possibility for the father.

I have found this  in the All Ireland marriage index [Familysearch]

MARRIAGE: Francis Drum, Apr./Jun.1881  Enniskillen registration district, volume 2 page 77

And a match?

Mary Donnelly, Apr./Jun.1881  Enniskillen registration district, volume 2 page 77

Is this not the same family in 1911, with mother Mary having the name Maguire?

I am new to this forum so please bear with me and my rambling.
I am a descendant of Terence Maguire, who acocrding to the Griffiths Evaluation records rented land in Tiravree Glebe from  1864 to 1881. Inbetween 1882 to 1898 the said land lease passed to James McManus, (neighbour and friend of the Maguires) then to  a Hugh Maguire and on to Mary Maguire between 1899 and 1914. From 1915 to 1923 the land is rented to Pat. Drum, son of Mary Maguire. If this is of relevance to you please let me know so we can compare notes.
