Edward Knighton

I'm trying to find out about what happened to an Edward Knighton, born in Holme on 12th June 1903. His parents were Jabez Knighton and Elizabeth Jane Hill.

He appears in the 1911 census, living with his family. However, the 1911 census says his birth year was 1905. The census is usually off by about a year from my experience, but a difference of two years isn't as common. Everybody else is listed at the correct age.

I haven't been able to find a marriage record for him, at least not in Huntingdonshire.

There is a death record for an Edward Knighton born 4 Jun 1904, died 1984 in Huntingdon. I ordered the certificate but unfortunately the parents of this Edward Knighton aren't listed, and he apparently had no next of kin. He died in the Hunter's Down Care Home and his nurse acted as the informant.

Is it possible these two Edward Knighton's are the same person?

I've never really thought about wills. How do I go about finding wills for a particular person?

Ancestry has the National probate calendar but it does not cover the period you are looking for.
