Adam Bouch and his wife Sarah Graham
« on: Tuesday 26 October 10 21:10 BST (UK) »
Can any kind soul find his parents or hers?

They must have been born roughly 1790 as they had 9 children from Ann in 1810 to John in 1828
They married at Aikton on 12 July 1810
They are both buried in Thursby churchyard

Many thanks

Hi,

The 1851 census has Sarah as born in Wigton. This could be her.

Sarah Graham baptised on 24/01/1790 at Wigton Cumberland. Parents Joseph Graham &  Agnes Edgar.

Adam is done was being born in Warwick, can not find a record for him yet.

In the 1861 census, Adam's birthplace is given as Eglonby, Cumberland, which I think is Aglionby. Adam was baptised 11 Jul 1790 in Warwick with father Adam BOUCH of Aglionby, weaver (from image on FHL tape 90672, Bishop's transcripts, Warwick). I think Adam's parents are Adam BOUCH and Mary TATE.
