Does anyone know what has happened to CumberlandRoots website?  I've used it frequently to find ancestors but when I tried this evening it seems to have disappeared.  It still shows up on a google search, but when you click on the name you just a website called Names.co.uk and a message stating Cumberlandroots.co.uk is not available.

It just looks like they let the name for their site to expire without renewing it.   :-[

They still have the opportunity to catch it before it goes completely.

If they notice, shame it was a good site and other sites are still giving links to it - although of course they don't work now.

I've found Cumberland Roots site, it's been archived (whatever that means) and the link is now www.rootschat.com/links/019uw/ - thank goodness for that as I use it quite often to find my "Cumberland Roots"   ;D
