Pixelated Photo Help
« on: Friday 24 May 13 12:24 BST (UK) »
Good Morning

I have a very pixelated photograph of my Gt Uncle who was KIA in France in 1917 (see below).

This is the only photo I have of him and would love to be able to enhance / restore it if possible.

It is taken from a newspaper clipping that carried a short report of his service / death.

I've tried some software that I already have on my PC but nothing will make any difference.

I'd be grateful for any advice / guidance that anyone can give. I'd prefer a DIY option if possible but I am prepared to pay a reasonable fee since this is a treasured photo.

Many thanks

David

Hi Mike and Carol

Many thanks for your replies and for your time and trouble in 'giving it a go' with my photo.

I know I am asking quite a lot but both your efforts are a definite improvement on the original, I really appreciate your help!

At least I have a photo anyway which is something and at least now, I have a slightly clearer image of him.

Kind Regards

David

Hi Gadget

Thanks for the welcome and of course for your work on my photo!

This is definitely a great improvement to the original and is almost 'photo frame quality'!

I am very impressed, thank you so much!

Kind Regards

David :)
