Hello 'T'

As you have his death, who was he married to? Who witnessed the death - was it a family member and if so whom.

What occupation did William have.

How far back have you got the couple on the census records?  If at all.  What siblings did Agnes have?

Basically you need to follow William as far back in the census records to give an idea of the composition of his family through time.

Regards,   Steve  :)

If you're able to give some info re the above I'm sure other will pitch in to help.

yep two agnes's and two robert's the one who married Jean Melrose was born in 1791 and married Jean on 16th May 1842. Trying to find a link between that Family and mine.
Mine lived at Row,Dunipace when he moved away from Alloa. Don't know where William Lived and don't know where Agnes 1823 lived but Agnes 1823 married James Snadan.
Don't know who Agnes 1847 married. However think William 1829 and Agnes 1847 might be linked.
Don't know how though. Trying to find out as if they are linked then they will be linked to the other Robert born in 1791 who was born in Falkirk Landward.Think he lived at Back Row in Falkirk about 1841.
My Robert married someone else as far as I know.

My Robert died on 03 July 1875 at Row Dunipace. He married Elizabeth Paterson on 11 June 1848 in St Ninians .Elizabeth died 27/07/1874. Agnes Married James Snadan/Sneddon 10th October 1847 at St Ninians and died in 1866 but don't know death date. Think William married Margaret Crawford who was born in 1830. Don't know death details for Margaret and William, only his dates, or where Margaret was born/died.
William I believe was born in Alloa.
