I would like to find out if there are any descendant's of this family still in the area..

Birth registered in Drumshanbo Registrar’s district
Father Thomas – mother Bessy Reilly.

hi, i found your info whilst looking for info regarding my grandads family in drumshanbo. My grandad was called john thomas allen and his father was francis allen who you have on your list (he died in 1932) and was married to margaret moran...They had a large family and i will have to get the list of names off my mum. why are you researching? are you also a decendant of the allen family of drumshanbo?

my great grandfather Thomas Allen was brother to ur grandfather.
Thomas had a son john Allen who is my grandfather.
This part of the family ended up in Wigan Lancashire.
Not much more knowen about the family to date.

I'm curious to find out if we have a connection some how.  My family of Allens are from County Monaghan as well..... I've been in contact with a man who has a patrick allen as his grandfather.

My great grandfather has an uncle thomas..... I know this thread is old, so if anyone comes across this again, please contact me at (*)

hi there my name is kirsty. my nan hannah walker camed from lancashier and her mums name was ada allan she married my great grandad george walker they use to work on boats. i no my nan had 2 sisters that i no off one older and one younger sister my nan went on to marry my grandad joesph samuel hambridge in brentford 1939 and i think my great nan and great grandad camed from ireland as i do no i have irish blood in my family i hope this helps you in any way and it would be nice to no if i have any family out there some where. thank you very much

hi there i was just thinking did the alans family work on boats going up to brentford and birmingham as i no that my nans family worked on boats her mum name was ada alan she married george walker i think they deliver coal as i no that my grandads family hambridge did my nans name was hannah walker she married joseph samuel hambridge in brenford middlesex im there granchild. :)

I have all the Allens you talk about on my tree. My great grandfather is Thomas b.1871. His son Thomas b1896 is my grandfather.
