« on: Sunday 07 October 12 13:35 BST (UK) »
Have alway been told that a Murphy married a Carney in Leitram in the 1800's.I know there was a Carney family in Mohill up until 5yrs ago they were farmers.I know there was a Francis Murphy in Mohill but cant find a connection.Has anyone either of these people in there family trees.Any info however small would be really appreciated.

Hi avotier,

Can you give any further information re names and dates please. Have you looked at any records at all?

Griffiths Valuation shows Murphy in Mohill but no Carney/Kearney.

Family Search has some Carney marriages which you would have to search to match to a Murphy but not knowing names or years makes it difficult.

regards

heywood
