Roy Mitchell 1910 - 1969 (Bournemouth)

Roy de-lorraine MITCHELL–1910(Bath)–1969(Bournemoth) – I believe he founded Mitchells Estate Agents in 1962. Looking for any info or obituary for this cousin of my Home Child father. Also any information about his children with Dora Maretta Norris 1914 – 1995? (Bath). Children: (*) b1938, Bath - (*)b1941, Yeovill - (*) b1942, Weymouth - (*) b1944, New Forest - (*) b1949 Southampton.

Oops, I need to edit this post to remove reference to possibly living people. But still would like to know if my Roy Mitchell, who died 1969 in Bournemouth was the founder of Mitchell Estate Agents.

These links show that the estate agent was founded by a Roy Mitchell ni 1962, although I can't actually find the reference n the present site. I think some of the branches have been taken over. It might be worth contacting them directly.

When Roy's father (Arthur Vlentine Mitchell) died in 1948 his will mentioned Arthur Charles Mitchell, foreman motor mechanic; and Roy de Lorraine Mitchell ,estate agent.

I'll contact them. Perhaps an old-timer will remember the family. In the meantime, I've ordered Roy's wife's 1995 DC. Hopefully, one of the children was the informant.

And I have just received a copy of Roy's will which doesn't give much info about his family but does confirm he was the owner of Mitchell's Estate Agents.

Still looking for an obituary or info about children.
