I hope am not being to cheeky but wondered if anyone was looking things up at a registry centre could they do me a favour...trying to follow links for my g grand mother. Lucy Allen b 1890/91 in Londonderry died 1977 in Glasgow (if this is same person). I may have found her parents but need to be sure before going any further. my nearest centre is over 100 miles away but plan on going soon, so if no one can help then that's ok.
thanks
Jackie.

Hi Jackie

There is 'a' Lucy Allen aged 11 on the 1901 census born Londonderry.  No father with them on the census but mother is down as Harriet aged 38 born Kildare.

3 siblings - Michael (aged 17 born Dublin), Mary (aged 15 born Omagh) and Thomas (aged 10 born Londonderry)

1911 census in Londonderry is just Lucy, Harriet and Mary

hi
many thanks Ruth, I have seen this info and think it could be the right family, however I would need to find a birth cert to be sure..i think her father was Thomas ?.
