Place names on death certificates

Can anyone help with the place names on these 2 death certificates please? Particularly interested in Lydia's as it might help confirm her maiden name. Lydia was born in Monachlogddu but that doesn't look right.

Would Maenochlogddu and Monachlogddu be the same place?

Shame I can't find a match on the 1851 census.

Cheers Gadget, I never have any luck with old maps, but that's brilliant. John and Lydia were at Ty Canol - 2 doors away - from 1841. ;D
