Hello, I am the granddaughter of Wilfred Thomas Darcy (1895-1919). His brother was Harold George Darcy and married Florence Smart in 1923. At some stage they lived in Redfern, Sydney.
My father, Leslie Thomas George Darcy passed away in 1973 when I was 11. I never recall him talking about his family and I have just started searching the history of the family.
My grandfather passed away at the age of 24 when my father was just 1 year old. His wife, Elizabeth Darcy (nee Mitchell) married 6 years later to Sydney Lowney and they had another son, Patrick who passed away as an infant. I am hoping that relatives of Harold George Darcy may be able to help me learn more about my grandfather and father's early life.
I do have a little further background into the family also going back to Clara M Olive and her parents, Theresa Collins and George William Olive.
