Infants of Queens Orphanage-Hobart Town 1851-1863

Hi all Rootscahtters,

Just wondering if anyone has a copy of Infants of Queens Orphanage, Hobart Town 1851-1863.

If so, would they be able to look up the Index,[if there is one], and look for the surname, VINCENT.

I can appreciate copyright rules/legislation, but I am just asking for a surname in general, no one specific. The book was written by I.Schaffer.

There is also a similar book titled Children of Queens Orphanage, Hobart Town, 1823-18..??, also by I.Schaffer.

Doesn't appear to be any VINCENT children when you enter search criteria. However the site isn't fool proof.

Just had a look in the indexes at LINCS Hobart and the only evidence I can see for any VINCENT children was in this index -

Vincent child, date of birth: 28/6/1877 Series: SWD57 Year:1882 - 4 entries

I opened the link, but I can't seem to open the names/index.

However, the person who I am looking for is a Henry Vincent, b; circa 1850 in Hobart Tasmania.
