1873 MOWATT Donald death registered in Rangiora.

There's also a Mary MOWATT with the same reg number. Is this a mistake? She doesn't come up on the online search.

There is a Mary Mowatt that comes up on the Burial Locator for 1873 (Record No; 169) Rangiora, but no Donald.

Good Morning all.

A little run down on my Mowat/t clan

Donald and Margaret came to New Zealand in 1863.  Donald died 1889 at Ashley Downs, Margaret died 1908 in Christchurch.
Their Children..
Alexander born 1862 (born Scotland)
William 1864 -1946 (born Ashley Downs)
Margaret 1866-1940 ''
Donald 1869 -1869
Mary 1871, she died in Dunedin 1950
James 1874-1934
Donald 1879-1963 (as shown on school rolls)
Helen 1882-1961

Not sure about the Mary and Donald as said buried at Rangiora, the dates just do not seem to fit with the names above

Have you tried the History Group or NZSG Branch in the area to see if there is anything on the two lads.?
