The above emigrated to NZ as a single lady 'general worker' on ship Southern Cross (recorded as Alice F Frake on Ancestry) 29 Mar 1955 but I can't find any records for her in NZ?

The passenger list has her as Mrs A R Frake

I see he on the Electoral Register in 1955 in London, with a Ada A Frake and a Walter H Frake I  can't see anything for her in New Zealand, do you know what the R stands for in her name, she may have use her second name, or she may have travelled else where, or she could have died en-rout

An Alice Rose BROWN died in 2008. Her date of birth was 16 April 1922.

2008/17773 - BROWN, Alice Rose - d.o.b 16 April 1922 - d.o.d 22 Jul 2008

There is a cremation record for her on the Nelson Cemetery website.

Her husband might or might not be Wallace Crichton BROWN d.23 Sep 2008 also listed on the Nelson Cemetery website

Maybe use electoral rolls or newspaper notices to find out a bit more about them.

She is also listed on the NZ BDM index for deaths as Alice Rose FRAKE*.

[*Search under Frake and the surname comes up as Brown.]
