Thanks rosie99 for the information :) :) :)
Looks like this could be my Eleanor as age fits. Eleanor Hardy (nee Slegg) was baptised 1804 St Pancras Foundling Hospital. Married Thomas Masterman Hardy (also a St Pancras foundling) 22 Mar 1828. They had 3 children Joshua Charles Hardy, Eleanor Hardy and Mary Ann Hardy (bapt 13 Apr 1834 St Mary's Lambeth). Eleanor must have died shortly after as Thomas remarried Mary Ann Johnson 11 Sept 1835 St George the Martyr Southwark.

Would there be any more info as to cause of death, spouse etc to identify her further.
Appreciate any advice.

ps: What does "New Ground, New Street" mean?

cheers :)

Is it possible to find other HARDY's in the household residing at Perseverance Street, Bermondsey in Oct/Nov 1834?

cheers :)

Hi

New Ground, New Street, St John Horsley Down is the address at the top of the burial register.
It was not until 1837 when registration started that you got information on cause of death and informant, it does not appear on a burial entry.

This entry was unusual as it gave undertakers name. There was also an amount of £1.1s for dues paid for Vault, there were also columns for 'dues paid for ground' and 'where buried'  but they were not completed for Eleanor. There is an amount of 4/ in a column without a heading so no indication what that was for or who paid it.

Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated  :)
Just wondering if this record would contain any further information or would it be exactly the same as the previous link? https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JZYC-YZJ
