Hi Paul

Do you have the actual death certificates?

If you do, can you post the last known address as this will help narrow down the area to search in.

If you don't have the death certs, what is the source of your information?

Hi Paul

By the time these people died, the parish churchyards would have almost stopped having burials to prevent further overcrowding.

If they aren't in the churchyard, then York cemetery would be the next place to check as it opened in 1837.

There is a surname index here

http://www.yorkcemetery.org.uk/genealogy/Gen/fssurnames.htm

which shows that there are Duncans & Boldersons in their registers but you have to pay to get further details.

As you have a possible reference for Thomasine, they may be willing to check for her entry free of charge.
