Thank you all for your replies.
I posted the topic on the Yorkshire board to try to find out if anyone knew of this family and to discover if there was any known link to the man on the Fort William War Memorial.
The war memorial in Fort William is to those who were killed.

I should have included this link in my last posting as it mentions one of the Harrogate Currie family having been in the Cameron Highlanders.

I am the Grandson of Harry Currie born on Denmark Terrace. Have access to some photos re WW1. I believe one of them was a POW. But I know little of their war record. Interested to know if we are related to anyone on this site.
