Hi Sinann,

Only found Moses military records this week - he was married to Mary Brown in 1907 according to them although he would have only been 16yrs? and they have 4 children listed in the 1911 census when he is just 20yrs although the years do add up.

Patrick Joseph Doyle 29.08.08
John Doyle 18.07.07
Julia Doyle 08.08.1911
Mary Anne Doyle 26.02.12

He enlisted on 14/07/1913 and was killed in France on 24/04/1915
There seems to be two sets of Military papers both with the same service number one names wife as Mary Keogh and the other is as above with Mary Brown  ???
It has the same children names but different birth dates for the children similar but different - could this be the same person?

Not sure on the first names for Kane & O'Looney but I will try find out

Thanks,
Jess

Moses married Mary Keogh

Can't see the date on the military record but it appears she remarried to William Brown in 1917.

A widow usually appears twice in the index under both names.

Hi Sinann,

I don't know the forenames of the husbands Kane / Looney but i have found out that they were from Scartaglin in Cordal East, Kerry.  I believe Margaret was from a large family and two brothers may have been named Jack, Philip or Ned.  However I still haven't been able to find out anything with this information.

thanks,
Jess

Margaret O’Sullivan married Patrick Doyle in Rathdown, Dublin 1941. Patrick’s address of 14 St Joseph’s Terrace in Athy confirms this is correct on the cert.  Her father is listed as John O’Sullivan (farmer) address 12 Beaufield, Skilorgan it looks like?? Don’t know where this is in Kerry.

I now think Mary’s husband was Thomas Looney married 1928 Father listed as John O’sullivan Address mullin

And Hannah’s was Edmund Keane married 1939 father listed as John Sullivan address mullin

I’m not 100% sure on these marriages but it’s the closest I can find for now.

I still can’t find Margaret’s birth or death records but will keep looking.
