Hello

My ancestor was William Fitzpatrick. He is located on the 1901 census as living in The Green, Fethard in Tipperary living with his wife Bridget and children Ellen, William, Frances, Gertrude, Bridget, Timothy, Edward, Thomas and Katie Fitzpatrick. Ellen is the oldest, born in 1880.

Could someone please help find a marriage record for William and Bridget? Bridget, William and their firstborn daughter Ellen were born in County Cork

my thanks

Irish Genealogy shows Ellen born 29 June 1879 White St, Cork to William and Bridget McCarthy
Family search shows Timothy born 27 July 1880 Cappawhite, Limerick.

Not yet. They stated I need his service number. What I will do is consult the Royal Irish Constabulary 1816 -  1922 by James Herlihy for further information

Odd. The 1901 census states that Timothy was born in 1882

Some of the townlands in Co. Limerick appear to be in Tipperary Registration District. Cappawhite might just be the sub-office where the birth was registered. I've often seen this before. It's just complicated here by the fact that the location is close to county bounds. The only way to know if there's an actual mistake on Family Search is to order the cert.
