Dorman family in Rutland

Looking for some help please. Tracing the Dorman family, I can get as far as Henry Dorman born 1st August 1724 in Glaston, Rutland. After that - nothing.  I would greatly appreciate any help and guidance from those who may be able to point me in the rught direction.

After that - nothing

  Do you mean "before that" (ie) before 1724

HENRY DORMAN   Christening:  30 AUG 1724   Glaston, Rutland   
Father:  JOHN DORMAN    Mother:  ANN 

The following children were also christened in Glaston to the same parents

Thomas 17.7.1728
Joseph 11.9.1731
Catherina (e) 17.1.1732

Thanks for taking the time to help me. Sorry about my misleading question. You are quite right, I am interested in any Dorman history BEFORE 1724. I can't find anything anywhere.

I would be extremely grateful for any help you can give.

I'm wondering about the possibility that John & Ann Dorman did not originate from Rutland but perhaps went to live there.  Leicester, Lincoln and Northampton all border Rutland

There are a few Leicester births to a John & Ann Dorman but they don't "sit" too well with a 1724 birth

Spotted your post re. Dorman of Rutland.  Wondered if you had links with Nottingham Dormans. I have a Charles Henry Dorman Born Leicester 1869 married to Caroliine Clifford. Links to Huddersfield and Nottingham.
