Hi Elaine,
If Christina died in Scotland there is a very good chance her parents names will be recorded  on her death certificate. Of course , this hinges on the memory/knowledge of the person who registered her death but it's a good place to start.

The marriage /banns of William and Christina has also been recorded  at Ceres in Fife.
One location would be the grooms parish (Monifieth?) the other would be the bride's (Ceres?)
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTP3-9MY

1851 Census  at Struthers Farm - Ceres Fife
James Walker farmer aged 53 with wife Jane and 5 children. He has two servants.
One is - Christian Airns female    age 22  Servant born Fife, Arngask.

Could this be your Christina? Remember names were often spelled phonetically and can vary due to local accents.

Hi Elaine,
Just so you know - even when a woman dies under her married name , on a Scottish death certificate her husband's name and whether he was dead or alive  would usually be recorded and her parents names and whether they were deceased.
Official death certificates began after 1855.

If Christina died in Scotland after 1855 there is a very good chance her parents names will be on her death certificate  ;)
