My nan is adamant that her nan died before her mum (although I'm not confident in her recollections) is there a Mary Connor who died between 1939-1945?

Hi Northwales,
There are over 100 Mary Connor's listed and over a dozen died in this time frame, so I'm afraid you will have to give me some more detail to go on as a lookup can be quite complicated in these circumstances. Researching your family history is all about facts, documents and certificates, so you really need to get back to basics to provide this information.

Hi Tina,
Is this him?
John Brennan, died at Mill Road Hospital on 9/2/1899, aged 32 years
if so he is in public grave BZ 2424.
am thinking 12/2/1899 is the burial date.

Many thanks Marienne, I was hoping to research Daniel and Catherine later in life.
So sad. Once again, your help has been fantastic to the family involved.
Cheers me dear

Tina
Hi Tina, I have been doing some family history & came across this post - these are all in my family tree. I live in Liverpool & have found some newspaper entries for the deaths. Can you PM me?

Cheers

Mike

Hi
Could you look up a grave for me in Ford Cemetery.  I am looking for a Mary Brown and have 2 possibles.

Mary Brown age 68 grave H 636.  Buried 2nd June 1872.  Lived at 5 Richmond St.

Mary Brown age 61 Grave D702.  Burial 22 December 1867. Lived at 4 Empire St.

As there are a lot of Browns i thought if i could find out who else was buried in the grave it might prove which one is the right one.  I will then be able to get the death certificate.
Thanks again.
Lin

Hi Lin,
Your 2nd Mary Brown is in Ford DZ 702 which is a public grave, so she is very unlikely to be with family members.
The 1st Mary Brown is in Ford K636, and is the only occupant.
However, the deed holder to H636 is Mary Brown, who is not interred within .
Other people in plot H636 are:
Robert Browne, died at Richmond St L1 age 64. interred on 25/1/1875
Honarah Brown died 5 Richmond St age 44 int 5/2/1885
Thomas Brown died 5 Richmond St L1 age 76. int 26/4/1887
hope this helps
