Hi mr newzealand
According to the 1871 census her fathers occupation is an agricultural labourer.
Not a lot of help but I will see what else I can find for you.

According to an online tree her parents were Henry John Mitchell 1833 – 1884 and Elizabeth Jane Tassell 1843 – 1923. They married 18 Aug 1862 in Chatham, Kent. Elizabeth was born Keldown, Ireland and Henry in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Wonder if it is Killowen, County Down? I suppose Killowen could be transcribed as Keldown.
