In a message posted by Maria eva on Friday 18 March 2011 she asked for information from the relelatives of Pte Jensen member of the British Empire Service League Canadian Legion ?Branch 40  ..... I am his grand-daughter my father was Richard N Jensen his 2nd child.  Roberts wife died in 1922, and this daughter Lillian and son William are both deceased...... Please help me contact Maria Eva or km1971 or neil1821

I have a beret belonging to Private R Jensen. Details in previous post.  It was in the personal belongings of my late father Raymond Dodd.  I do not know how my father came to have it. My father served in the second world war in the D.E.M.S.  The only information I have found on line is that Private Jensen served in the Boer War. Is this correct ?  I would hope to return the beret to the legitimate family of Private Jensen.  Also can anyone help me piece together as to how the beret was in my fathers possession.

Can you tell me how you think my father came to have the wedge/beret belonging to P Jensen in his possession ?
