william bowles raynor looking for burial

unusual question

i know the road was widened and some graves were moved but were

it said in a newspaper article that he was interred in st mary cemetery st annes well road nottingham
but i have never been able to find his grave stone.

he died  friday 13th march 1874

but i have never been able to find his grave stone.

He may not have had a headstone.
You might have to contact the cemetery and see if they have a burial record which may give you a plot number etc.

Hi,

Nottingham St Mary burial
19 Mar 1874, William Bowles RAYNOR, of Broad St, age 71

He may or may not have had a headstone. I think the monumental inscriptions for St Mary's can be viewed at the Notts Archives on microfiche.

find it a bit confusing,
would st mary's rest garden bath st where he was buried be included in the burial records of st mary

As Alexander has posted above yes he was in St Mary's burial records as all 3 of St Mary's burial grounds were.
