Hello Fran,

I was just looking at you posts and realized that your "Lizzie" is not on my database but I do have George Elder Hepburn so the likelihood of you and I having the same forebears is still there. I haven't ever researched GEH so it looks as though I have another "twig" to add to my Hepburn tree.

Don

I Fran,

I don't know if you already have this information, I have been doing some digging for you.  According to the 1911 Census Geo. aged 48  Wife Elizabeth aged 43 are living at 8 Beveridge Pl.,
Parish of Ballingry (Landward), Fife along with James aged 23 and Catherine 16.  Geo. & Eliz. have been married 23 years had 10 children with 3 still living at time of census.

Kate marries James Menzies Philp  17-4-1914 at Lumphinnans United Free Church Manse, Cowdenbeath.  At the time of her marriage Kate was a pithead worker and living at 8 Beveridge Pl., Lumphinnans.   James M Philp died 3-4-1957 at 45 Primlaws, Leslie.  If you PM me your e-mail
address I will send you a copy of the certificates and also a photo of James & Kates Grave in Leslie Cemetery.
