John Maguire born 1851 Cavan son of Joseph both boot makers

Hi

My grandfather was John Maguire born Cavan c1851 son of Joseph.

John married Mary Connor in Liverpool 1870. They lived in Thurlow Street 

They were both boot or shoe makers

I hoping to find out more about the family or maybe connect with someone who has them in their tree.

I have now closed my related post as John was transcribed as Macguire not Maguire.

His birth year was stated as c1851 and birthplace as Cavan.

Now starts the search for family in Ireland.

You will find lots of spelling variations of the same surname- Maguire, Macguire, McGuire, M'Guire, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
