jamiesons and grays of Unst
« on: Thursday 29 November 07 21:09 GMT (UK) »
Hi , Is anyone else searching for Unst ancestors of the Jamieson or Gray families ?

I have Charlotte Jamieson   born8/8/1814    married to John Gray born 28/12/1814

They were both born in Unst but married in Liverpool 5/11/1842

I believe Charlotte`s father was James (farmer)  and John`s father was Peter (farmer)

They were my grgr grandparents.

It would be great to find other descendents of the family.

                     Jane

Jane hasn't been online since Dec.2007 but if she still gets notifications then she might come back to read this thread.

Hi Rusty, I have just read your message from 10 years ago. if Elizabeth Fordyce Gray was your great grandmother we must be related because Mary Fordyce Gray born Unst 10 Mar 1855 is mine.
