hi everyone i am looking for help with the nairn/nairne line in my tree.  i have thomas born abt 1750 in clackmannan and

married to elizabeth thomson.  also have a john born about 1776 who was suppose to be a seaman or captain and at one

time was on the ss arbuckle.  any help with anything that has to do with this family would be greatly appreciated   beans

thanks for the replies.  can anyone tell me if there is anyplace to look for johns naval records or where did he end up.

i havent been able to find his marriage or if he had children     thanks for the help   beans

this family is proving very difficult the only one i have been able to trace is james who married mary burt and they had

6 children  that is all the farther i got     beans

hi everyone

 here is an update for john so after reading if someone can point me

in the right direction  his ship was the hms alfred  he also went to ireland for a

 time and helped start a distillery in clonmel  Also johns sister margaret married

 john boyd  john and margarets father thomas might have been a minister in

 kennet  any further help would be appreciated.    beans
