I don't know where Bristol's church archives are stored, but that could be where you could ask for the information.

The European magazine, and London review, Volume 64
By Philological Society (Great Britain) 1813.

Free on Google Books, has a one line obit " "At his academy, Kingsmill-Hill, "The Rev. William Stevens, an Itenerant Preacher of the Gospel amongs the Medodists"

PM
I'll have a look and see if there is anything else about.

Well done, Dazey! "A Happy Spirit" I like that bit!

Tabitha's sister Susanna also gets a mention in Google books:
At Bristol, Mr. Benj. Baber, to Susanna, second daughter of the late Rev. Wm. Stevens, of Kingswood-Hill.
in:
New monthly magazine, Volume 9
edited by Thomas Campbell, Samuel Carter Hall, Baron Edward Bulwer Lytton Lytton.

His wife, who died at 47, also gets a glowing obit in:The gentleman's magazine, and historical chronicle, Volume 87, Part 1, P.380.
