sorry will remember so next time, GEORGE, was on both 1901 & 1891 channel's islands census,  sister LILIAN just goes to a unknown place, have checked st stephens parish on Guernsey isle , she doesn't die or get married/have children there, did find a third brother came out to NZ , is possible that LILIAN & GEORGE came this far afield, ancestry tho won't prove anything solid in order for me to find what ever info may be laying around

On 13th August 1913, SS Victorian left Liverpool.
Amongst the passengers was:

Lillian Wood, 27, bound for Montreal.

This may, or may not, be your Lillian? ;D

we know where the the daughter annie eliza is, working for a older weoman a few streets away as home help, trouble is we haven't a clue where lilian or george get to, john , clifford & henry all venture to nz fairly close together, a friend &n i think lilian had the name elizabeth, being her mums christian name, makes sense as eliza is short for elizabeth , friend & i think lilian went to new york around 1907 ish as a woman named ellen wood listed on her ancestry thing, havent seen it so dont know for certain, has been considered by myself lilian went to mainland britain or took a job on a vessel maybe like titanic, makes sense being so close to cherbourg

Hi Mr newzealand,

It may pay you to go to your nearest large library that has numerous online databases that you can search yourself as it seems that you have all the information the good folk here are offering

Cheers Janette
