There is a MI in Greyfriars with dates/ages for the above couple but I cannot find death records for either in ScotlandsPeople....dod for Andrew is inscribed as 28/8/1842, age 75; dod for Catherine is 17/2/1851, age 77. They do appear in 1841 census as "More" but this variation still does not produce results. Any ideas, please? Any information about his parents would be of interest; Catherine could be the daughter of Charles Anderson & Agnes Harlie and any information about them would also be helpful.
