« on: Sunday 06 April 14 10:40 BST (UK) »
Jeannette a Persch married Walter George Davis in London 1925, born about 27 July 1896, her father was called Peter Persch. I am unable to trace her birth details anywhere, she died 1988 at Lewishem. Can any one help please.

There is a family tree on Ancestry with a marriage cert it gives her father as Peter Persch decd, restaurant manager. Also gives an address at marriage of 3 Tower Street North Lambeth.

Witnesses both Davis's.

Doesn't sound very English so perhaps she was born abroad?

While the death index gives a date of birth, the death certificate will also give her place of birth (if known to the informant). That would be a good starting-point.

The family tree on ancestry is mine, I will have to get a death certificate in the future, she is not blood family, just by marriage and a mystery, thanks to everyone for their help.
