Hi

"I have a full subsequent set of census records, including their daughter, Mary Jane, b 21-nov-1857."

1861 says that their daughter's name is Mary Ann.
1871 says that their daughter's name is Mary.

How did you get to "Mary Jane" ?

Ray

And is that the reason you can't get the correct marriage,as you don't have the correct maiden name?

She's "Mary Jane" on her baptism cert, and later on her wedding cert, and on her children's baptism certs.

Yes, that's my girl. It's the mother that's causing the trouble.
