Seeking info on Richard and Christianne Johnston, both born in Ireland and likely in Fermanagh. Richard was born in either 1786 or 1791 depending on which Ontario census records you look at. Likewise, Richard's wife Christianne (spelled in some Ontario records as Christiaan, Christan or Cristiana) was born in either 1781 or 1786.

Their son John (my gggrandfather) WAS born in Fermanagh around 1818. His brother Robert was born July 16, 1820 or 1821, also in Ireland and likely in Fermanagh.

Richard, Christianne, John and Robert emigrated to Canada in 1840, settling initially in Reach Township, Ontario County and/or Cartwright Township, Durham County, and subsequently in Wallace Township, Perth County in 1854. A James Johnston settled on lands immediately adjacent to Richard and Robert in Wallace Township in the same year and he may either have been another son of Richard and Christianne, or perhaps a younger brother to Richard.

John married one Mary Anne Rogers, born in Ireland about 1813. They were probably married in Ontario, around 1845. Robert married Ann Martin, also born in Ireland, about 1867.

I would dearly love to know where in Fermanagh these Johnstons came from.
