Help with children born abroad
« on: Thursday 02 July 09 19:56 BST (UK) »
I have found on the 1881census the family I have been looking for called Parker - the older children are born Dorset, but the younger children are born in Holland, the youngest one is 2 years old and they are now living back in England Salford Lancashire.  RG11 1073 Folio 30 page 71.  The son Thomas aged 14 seems to have been born Germany (looks like it has been spelt Jermany) the next child Hannah only 1 year younger and the rest of the children are  born in Holland.  Might anyone have any thoughts as to why the family went abroad and then returned? I am sorry that I dont have much information, I only started this branch today.
Kind regards Susan

Another question the family would not be on the 1871 census  in Enland because they would be abroad, would they be on some sort of census in Holland?
Susan
