Geography Question - Roxburghshire

What are the parishes in the county?  My ancestor was supposedly born in Newcastleton.  I was given to understand that the town was in Castleton Parish but Castleton is not one the parishes listed on FreeCEN.

Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks, RedFox

You are quite right Newcastleton is in the parish of Castleton.

Shows that Castleton has been assigned but is not completed so you won't see it listed as a search on Freecen until it is finished.
