John McCristal
« on: Thursday 27 June 13 09:13 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Please can anyone give me information on the above.
I have him when he lived in Sheffield.
He was married in Sheffield in 1834 to Ann Cain.
His father was called Edward a Farmer but I don't know the town or village.
In Ireland he was a silk mercer.

Thank in anticipation

John

Hello,
I have come here via your other post re Edward McCristal.
You have John's marriage here in 1834 when it should be 1843 and although Ann's name is given as Cain for marriage, 1851 census has a Bridget McQuaid as mother in law.
I know it doesn't help much though.
